1. ignore

Please ignore the awful camera angle, my long hair (desperately in need of a hair cut!) and my stupid smile..

Do not ignore this fabulous skirt that I bought for $1.20. Serious.

Outfit details: Skirt - Ibyza (Still had the tags from Montgomery Wards!), Blazer - Ann Taylor (thrifted, $3.00), Shirt - Something I’ve had forever, JcPenney maybe?

This skirt reminded me of something that Fashion Frugality would wear and I snatched it up so fast.

I wore it to court and won a bench trial that day. The world was good.

  2. In love

Don’t you want these on your feet immediately? They’re beautiful.

Brian Atwood has stolen my heart and he’s not giving it back. Jerk.

  3. want.

I don’t just want this dress, I’m pretty sure that I NEED it. It’s perfect.

You have $300 I can borrow, right?

  4. maybe baby?

No, probably not. At least, not for now, or the next 10ish years. But, then I saw this Missoni stroller. My heart skipped a beat. It’s like Missoni made it just for me. Right? I bet they did.

Isn’t it fetch? (Oh yes, I used fetch) Don’t you want to push your baby-friend around in a stylish Missoni stroller?

Obviously I’m not being paid for writing this post. I just have a very unhealthy obsession with $700 chevron strollers.

  5. disaster

ugh, i tried to make my cheap ikea curtains look nice, but it was a total bust! i painted the chevron design, but the fabric is so thin that paint got everywhere. disappointment. i’m planning on redo-ing this mess, but using thicker curtains (or, maybe white sheets?) and painting a mint colored chevron.

i think the mint color (maybe turquoise) would look prettier anyway. silver lining?

  6. sooooo good

I have a new job for the summer. One that involves me wearing suits. every. single. day.

    Boring, right? Right.

I started my suit hunt at the mall, where I didn’t find a damn thing. Because why would I find suits in a mall? I centered my search around Sears. People don’t really still shop there, I just happened to have a gift card. My search was completely unsuccessful.

So, I headed to a place where I knew I could find SOMETHING. My local thrift stores. Most people turn their noses up when they think of thrifting. Which is great, more for me please.

    Guess what I found today..

2 Banana Republic skirts, one black, one gray - $4.00 each, 1 Anne Klein Blazer, black - $3 and, best of all, a Banana Republic 2 piece suit for $7.50. I am so psyched. Because I stumbled across such amazing finds AND the pieces are quality pieces that will last forever. Much better than the junk at my local Sears.

Oh, and my black skirt is the same skirt as in the photo above, swearsies. It’s a $70 skirt. SCORE.

LOOK at this blazer. I could live in coral all summer! I was already planning on going thrifting today, I’m adding coral to my list of things to look for.

PS - this model looks super awk.

  9. i see what you did there..

    samedelmanleroy

I spotted these Sam Edelman espadrilles on Piperlime.. On sale! They look suspiciously like these little beauts that I’ve had my eye on..

    louboutinpanier

The Christian Louboutin version is $545 and sold out. The Sam Edelman? $149. And, I like the black better. Christian, I think you just got served.

  10. mcqueen

I love Alexander McQueen. His designs are my dreamworld. Since I don’t live in New York, I obviously couldn’t see the exhibit at the MET for myself. My brother lives in the city and went to the show for me. I begged him to take pictures and he was going to, but the museum didn’t allow photos. Ughhhhhhhhhhh. Lee, why do you do these things to me?
